- Account: name, email, auth identifiers.
- Meal inputs: photos, audio notes, text you submit for analysis.
- Generated insights: calorie and nutrient breakdowns, meal history, streaks.
- Device/usage: IP (truncated), browser/device info, app events for reliability and analytics.
2. How We Use Data
To operate the app, generate nutrition insights, surface trends and reports, provide support, improve recognition models, prevent abuse, and meet legal obligations. We do not sell your personal data.
3. Sharing
We share data with vetted processors (cloud hosting, analytics, error monitoring, payments) under data-protection agreements and only as needed to run the service. We may disclose data if required by law or to enforce our terms.
4. Security
Encryption in transit, access controls, and monitoring. No system is perfect; report issues to security@zapp.fit.
5. Retention
We keep data while your account is active and as required for legal or business purposes. When no longer needed, we delete or anonymize it.
6. Your Choices
Update or delete your account, request an export, or ask us to erase certain data where applicable. Manage cookies/analytics via your browser. Contact privacy@zapp.fit for requests.
7. Children
zapp.fit is not intended for children under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.
8. Changes
We may update this policy. The “last updated” date will indicate the latest revision; continued use means acceptance.
