Terms of Service

zapp.fit lets you log meals via photo or audio and receive AI-generated calorie and nutrient estimates, chat with an AI nutrition coach, and optionally connect your device's health platform to enrich your coaching experience. The service is an informational tool — it is not a medical device and does not replace the advice of a licensed healthcare professional.

Calorie and nutrient estimates are AI-generated approximations and may be incomplete or inaccurate depending on image quality, portion visibility, and other factors. The AI coach provides suggestions based on your history and goals; it is not a registered dietitian, nutritionist, or medical provider. Do not rely on zapp.fit for clinical, medical, or therapeutic decisions. We are not liable for health outcomes resulting from use of AI-generated content.

If you connect your device's health platform (such as HealthKit on iOS or Health Connect on Android), we read activity data — such as steps, calories, and heart rate — to provide context to your AI coach. We do not write data to your health platform. You can revoke this access at any time through your device settings.

You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately at support@zapp.fit of any unauthorized access.

You retain ownership of photos, audio recordings, and text you submit. You grant zapp.fit a license to process, analyze, and store that content to deliver nutrition insights, history, and coaching. By submitting photos or audio, you consent to AI-powered analysis of that content, including transmission to third-party AI providers under data-protection agreements. We may use anonymized, aggregated meal data to improve our AI models; this data is not linked to your identity.

The AI coach stores preferences, dietary patterns, and behavioral context derived from your conversations to personalize future responses. This memory persists across sessions. You can request deletion of your AI memory by contacting privacy@zapp.fit, or it will be fully removed when you delete your account.

Do not upload harmful, illegal, or deceptive content. Do not attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or disrupt the service. Do not misrepresent nutritional data. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms.

Paid plans are billed as shown in the app. Fees are non-refundable unless required by applicable law. Taxes may apply. Plan changes take effect on your next billing cycle.

The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee the accuracy of AI-generated nutrition estimates or fitness projections.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, zapp.fit is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including harm resulting from reliance on AI-generated content. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid in the preceding 12 months.

These terms are governed by the laws of Brazil. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of São Paulo, SP.

We may update these terms at any time. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance. The "last updated" date reflects the most recent revision.
